Blog #8- Odysseus

Odysseus is considered to be one of Greek mythologies greatest heros.  What qualities does he posses that make him a great hero and leader. However, on the flip side, he also posses many character flaws.  What are these flaws and how do they hurt him and his men?

You need two paragraphs: one explaining what makes Odysseus a great hero and leader, with examples from the story and one paragraph identifying his character flaws, with examples from the story, and explaining how those flaws hurt him and his men.

This is due by Friday, May 17, at 3pm.

Since we are studying Greek mythology, I want each of you to report on one of the Greek Gods/Goddesses.  You must list their name, what they are the god/goddess of, and what they are known for. And, for extra credit, you may include a picture of the god/goddess that you chose.

The catch? Each person must chose a different god/goddess to report on. No gods/goddesses may be repeated on this blog.

Blog #7- Life Philosophy

"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome." Booker T. Washington

For this blog, each of you is to find a quote by a famous person that represents your life philosophy (see above quote).  You need to copy and paste the quote into your response and state the "author".  Then you must explain in a paragraph what you believe this quote means.  Then, in a second paragraph, you must explain why this is your life philosophy.

Each person must have their own quote. No repeats!

This is also Bryant some one would stray from his original play because it was a bunch of guys kissing each other!!!
Three similarities between the two are the following. One there is two people in love. Two the brother was just like tybalt. Three there was a nurse in Romeo and Juliet and a doctor in the movie. Three difereces are the following. One difference is the names of the two groups. The second difference is that Juliet never ended up killing her self. The third difference is in Romeo and Juliet it was her parents that didnt want them to be Together not her brother.
THIS IS BRYANT'S!!!!!!

Blog #5

Happy New Year! Did you make any resolutions for 2013? If not, here's your chance.  For this blog, make two resolutions for the year 2013.  You need to make one resolution for your life outside of school (exercise more, read more, compliment someone every day, etc) and one for school (make superior honor roll, pass science, etc.)  You must write a paragraph explanation of why you chose that resolution and how you will achieve it.

This is due by Friday, 1/11/13.
